Rice milling is the oldest and the largest agro processing industry of the country. At present it has a turnover of more than Rupees 25,500/- crore per annum. The Industry processes about 85 million tonnes of paddy per year and provides staple food grain and other valuable products required by over 60% of the population.

Paddy grain is milled either in raw condition or after par-boiling, mostly by single hullers registered in the country. Apart from it there are also a large number of unregistered single hulling units in the country.

The improved rice mills have a better husk and rice bran aspiration system. The same prevents mixing of fine brokens with rice bran. Therefore the quality of rice bran obtained is better. Shriram Food Industry Pvt. Ltd. is a known rice miller based in Nagpur, India. We are into business of rice milling from 3 generations now. We have 2 rice milling plants in Nagpur area. Nagpur being located centrally in India, ensures transportation to all ports easier and economical. Plant location is strategic to ensure good buy from the nearby paddy fields. The capacity of our mills is about 10000 tons rice per month. We have fully Automized state of art one Satake and one Buhler Plants with us.

We have received the membership of APEDA and Indo African Chamber of Commerce. We pay emphasis on packaging to ensure the safety of rice during transit. Owing to all these, our Rice has received a wide acceptance in the market of India and Africa as well. Last few years we have been successfully exporting continuous rice supplies to Middle East and Africa region. We have our corporate office in Nagpur India, with a Representative office in Dubai to cater to local communication.
